cruise jobsWorking on a cruise ship tax free job Have you ever thought about the opportunities, and exciting job, that you may be able to get while cruising around the world for free or even get paid to cruise. Well these are the advantages that working on a cruise ship can bring.  So what should you expect? First it a great way of working tax free as ships that travel around the world in international waters the cruise operators’ tend to pay the staff to these rules hmm “now your talking” I hear you say… well guess what there’s more!

Your food is already paid for as its subtly taken out of your wage but believe me you get more than you would normally eat. Your room is on board so that’s taken care of and the best part you don’t have to commute to work saving on train, bus or even saving the fuel cost for your car “hay guess what”? No more sitting in traffic jams, and if you can find a better way of saving your money let me know, of course you could spend it all onshore at the fabulous ports of call you’ll interact with people from all over the world, which will bring you into direct contact with other cultures mainly from the Far East. You’ll be amazed at how friendly living in the cruise ship community is and when its over you’ll have a lifetime of contacts and friends from around the world that you can visit and may possibly stay with hopefully saving you on hotel bills if you’re lucky.   Well there’s got to be down side to this!

Well that depends on what you do on board; it could all be hard work as well as their main job most crew members have multiple jobs due to the limited numbers of staff cruise ships can carry at any given time. Unfortunately for these reasons you can expect lose a little of your free time sometimes preventing you from the visiting some great ports of call. The truth is you’ll be travelling around the same countries so that won’t really be a problem.  The minimum contract to work on a cruiseline is around four months during which time you’re not only away your way from your family and friends after a few months you may be thinking it’s time to go home. Homesickness is some times a problem as crewmembers do break there contracts; truth is most of the staff members are there for the money and excitement of travel.
Health and Safety, Rules and Regulations must be followed by all crew members it will be the crew members who will guide the passengers to safety in an emergency, intoxication whilst working will obviously not be tolerated so if you love a tipple watch out So overall working on a cruise may not be all easy, you could the piano player who plays in the lounge at night or the DJ at the night club or even one of the fitness instructors’ hmm so maybe it is one of the most exciting ways you can holiday travel and see the world and get paid for doing it sounds good to me.
